The Western Equestrian Society was formed in 1985 to promote th discipline of western riding to the standard practised in the United States.
The UK is split into several areas. Area 5 serves Lancashire and Yorkshire.
We welcome new members from beginners to experienced. English riders can also join in some of our clinics to learn about the benefits of our way of natural training and riding.
If you have always wanted to ride the western way but think it is not possible because your horse is not a quarter horse - well, think again!!!. WES promotes the western disciplines not the breed of horse.
We see lots of different breeds, shapes and sizes of horse from little 12 hand ponies to Shires.
Interested? Then just give us a holler. We look forward to hearing from you real soon.
